Our story

'L'arrosticciere in Piazza' is a social promotion association whose purpose is to keep Abruzzese history, habits, and customs alive, promoting and spreading them to all those who love traditions. It all started when Emidio Ginestrino, during a visit to the Museum of the People of Abruzzo (Museo delle Genti d'Abruzzo), recognized his mother cooking arrosticini in a historical 1930 photograph taken in Civitaquana. This inspired him, along with his family, to reenact that moment through a dedicated event.
